Britain’s Got Talent 2008

“Brilliant script,  great comedy, great confidence, you are the stand-up we’ve been waiting for” – Piers Morgan.

Over a quarter of a million people have watched Drew’s performance on Britain’s Got Talent on 10th May 2008 via YouTube.

After impressing the judges, Drew took the good luck message ‘break a leg’ too literally by fracturing his left leg two weeks later and was unable to return. More unusual was that he did it on his birthday!

The stage newspaper tells the story!

Perhaps it was just as well because no matter how long they tried to coax him, Drew wouldn’t degrade his professionalism by telling the cameras it was his lifelong dream to appear on a tv talent contest.

Neither would he deliver silly comments like, he was doing this for his children or his dying granny!!!.

See the video to the left.

Especially as he had already experienced his ‘lifelong dream’ by winning Opportunity Knocks on the clapometer at the age of 12!!!
